I am a bit of a bear with the spirit of a buffalo. When people ask me about my healing work, what it is, I want to say 'what is it that you need'. Because it is opening the connection to what you need that opens when you decide to take this journey. If you have found this page and it resonates with you, then there is something here that you might need. Always do your research when you are seeking out a healer and find someone you feel a connection with. The divine Spirit will open it up from there.
My artistic story started around 1993 when I attended IUSB. I was just starting to find my artistic voice and craving something spiritual to follow quickly behind. My journey has taken me to many places from the jungles of Peru to the Great Barrier Reef. We all have moments that change our compass and I am no different. My art goes from abstract painting to ceramics, moving into leatherwork and writing. I find they all feed my soul in different ways.
My spiritual path began when I found my family back in 1996. I learned my grandfather was Native American and at that moment I felt like my craving for the spiritual found its home. I settled into shamanism and quickly realized I had always been a healer, I just did not realize it. Everyone has their norm. For me, it was normal to speak to spirits and receive messages from nature. Making the connection and learning to hone my medicine has taken many years. I am forever grateful for my path and all my experiences. Anyone can be a teacher on the path of stillness.
I studied the path of the wounded healer and found my home as a Hollow Bone Healer. I become hollow for spirit to work through me. The work isn't coming from me but through me. A few of my strengths are land clearing, entity attachment and recieving direct guidance about my clients path.
I am located in Northern Indiana and I realize the trauma and pain the land here has endured. My work allows me to connect to someone else's story to help them make the connection to their own medicine. Everyone has a different story and learning how to make the connection to your own medicine helps you find your own bliss. Moving from a path of suffering to freedom. As a shamanic practitioner, I understand that at times we can lose pieces of ourselves. When this happens it creates a block in our lives. Most of us have some form of soul loss, some more than others. I help bring those pieces back for people so they can work towards wholeness.
On my spiritual path, I began making drums. I made three different drums at different times in my life and one of my friends asked me to make a drum for them. That was the start of my drum-making journey. The drum speaks if you are sensitive enough to hear it. The hides typically start talking to me as soon as someone decides to make their drum. It's a sacred process that is specific to each person. I enjoy carrying that medicine and facilitating sacred drum-making workshops or birthing a drum.
